Getting Started

Blackbox services are available through normal HTTPS web addresses and, where supported, dedicated apps.

Before you begin

You will generally need:

  • your Blackbox account details;
  • an internet connection;
  • the address for the service you want to use; and
  • the appropriate app, if you prefer an app instead of a browser.

Use the public Blackbox address

When an app asks for a server URL, use the exact https://...blackbox.watch address shown in this manual. Do not enter a local IP address, port number or extra path unless a guide specifically tells you to.

  1. Confirm that you can open the service from a normal web browser.
  2. Sign in and confirm your account has access.
  3. Install the recommended app for your device, if applicable.
  4. Enter the exact service address shown in this manual.
  5. Sign in using the method required by that service.
  6. Apply any recommended playback, download or personalisation settings.
